Glaubitz

The village of Glaubitz is located close to the river Elbe, just 40 km away from the city of Dresden. There are 2100 people, living in Glaubitz. Next to Glaubitz is the city of Grossenhain (12 km) and the city of Riesa (7 km). The main road B98 is crossing Glaubitz as well as the railway Leipzig-Dresden.

The hosts

Inside historical walls of an old manor you will find two comfortable, cosy holiday apartments. These apartments are suitable for short trip vacations. You can enjoy walks or bicycle rides along the banks of river Elbe or trips to the vine villages of river Elbe, the cities of Meißen or Dresden.
Rainer and Elke renovated and restructured the old manor by their own over a period of years and years.
Close to the apartments you can find the conservation area “Glaubitz forest” with wonderful trees and little lakes. Very enjoyable during summer time is a visit to the outdoor swimming pool at “Glaubitz forest”.
